St. Mary’s Immaculate Conception Catholic Church was established at this Iowa location in 1870. This lovely, small church building was built in 1902, replacing the previous 1870s building. The large trees at the entry provide ample shade in the summer, welcoming the townsfolk to all their events throughout the year. The potential of the beautiful tree colors in the Fall, is shown in this August photo. This Catholic Church stands in the small community of St. Mary’s in rural Iowa.
