Description
Enger Tower in Duluth, Minnesota, sits high on a bluff overlooking picturesque landscape. The 80 foot tower, with 85 steps, provides amazing vistas of the Aerial Lift Bridge, Twin ports, Lake Superior, and Wisconsin, among many other attractions. The person looking out the top most window is experiencing the fantastic views.
A plaque reads: “On June 15, 1939, Olav, then Crown Prince of Norway, dedicated this tower. On October 17, 2011, Harald, King of Norway, rededicated it. This famous landmark was restored to recognize Bert J. Enger’s devotion and generosity to the City of Duluth and to celebrate this region’s Norwegian heritage.” This is presented in a square format.
