Description
The Stanley Blue Crane is the national bird of South Africa. Although the males and females are almost indistinguishable, they are both mostly a silvery bluish white color. Their heads are clean and have bare skin, with very dense feathers that can be raised, creating a variety of angles to the face and head to display emotion. They have longer, darker feathers on the lower neck and chest, but the most alluring part of their appearance is the long trailing dark bluish-black feathers that descend from the undersides of the wings almost to the ground. Their black legs complement the look beautifully.
In addition to an amazing throw pillow, tote bag or yoga mat, this photo would make a fun jigsaw puzzle, shower curtain, coffee mug, or greeting card. It would also be suitable as an addition to an office or as home wall art. There are many other novelty possibilities. Please visit lindabrittain.pixels.com for many other customizable gift and home decor suggestions. The Fine Art America watermark will not appear on any purchases.
